Today I am offering my 1st Generation Epsilon 2-band brush (see below for differences between 1st and latter produced Epsilon brushes) along with a twice used puck of Fine Shaving Soap. The brush is in excellent condition, does not shed and features the larger original handle along with the softer tipped two-band hair. The knot measures 29mm in diameter by 54mm loft and is quite dense. The soap, as mentioned, was lathered twice. It produces a very nice lather, but I am not a fan of the scent (have ordered Platinum since). Withdrawn

The first release of Epsilon brushes featured a larger handle which was laser engraved, the rod stock used for this handle was more expensive and they soon switched to a smaller rod stock which in turn made for a thinner handle and a smaller knot. The initial batch of 2-band hair was, in my opinion, the finest 2-band hair ever used by Vie-Long far softer than other Vie-Longs and superior to what is currently available according to trustworthy sources. I have a second generation Epsilon and the knot measures 28mm vs. the 29mm knot in this beast. The original batch had the anniversary markings on the base as well, also laser engraved. Finally the initial release was more expensive, the price was reduced at the same time that they switched to the smaller handle and knot.
