Thanks Jimmy & LOOT - I agree with Jimmy that this .61 gap in the OC configuration makes it a great daily shaver. I think someone will be very happy with this razor... it is remarkable workmanship!

OK - let's try another price reduction to $555 - below the price to buy it from the wolfman site...

Because of some thoughts said by some users (IMHO), lower gaps are difficult to sell now. With a very good technique (face mapping & co) you can easily get a true BBS with just two passes, with this 61too !

Very True, I have the .61 OC and often use it for my first WTG passes. Using the Stretch Technique (SSSST- Skin Stretch Short Stroke Technique), I can get a great shave. The GREAT factor regarding the .61OC is that it is also a very PLEASANT razor to use.
At some point, Shaving Technique is MORE important that the razor used!

The 61 OC is a great razor for daily shaving. If I skip a day, I just add a shim and it provides just enough added efficiency for the extra growth. I’m really surprised it’s still available.

+100. 2 years ago I started with .61 and decided that it was not efficient enough for me. I was lucky to get a .67 and .74 and spent a lot of time trying to figure out how not to cut myself. Recently I scored a .61 OC again and it turns out to be one of the most efficient razors in my collection, BlackBird first gen remaining the top shaver for me. And my face does not look like an undercooked steak after I finish shaving Smile

I agree - the OC plate really contributes to the efficiency of this razor, despite how smooth the .61 gap is!

Perhaps James made a mistake on my order? I find my 0.61 WR 1 to be quite aggressive. Much more so than the Gamechanger 0.84.
