With seven brushes purchased or ordered in the first half of November I feel a bit compelled to relieve some space in the cabinet.  These brushes are all in fantastic shape and were very well cared for, no shedding here.  The decision to sell these particular brushes was very tough and done mostly based on similar models already in my collection.  One in particular I am still struggling with and you will see that in the price, I don't plan on discounting so don't postpone.  Prices include US shipping and PayPal fees.  PM me to purchase or feel free to ask any questions here.

L to R (in all photos)

Culmak Pure Badger - 21mm x 56mm knot - This brush is not scratchy nor prickly as the label would suggest, instead it has soft tips and enough backbone to face lather with (as that is how I use all of my brushes, I would know).  There is a light rust? stain on the hairs as seen clearly in the first photo, this has not effected the way the brush feels or performs.  $30 SOLD!

Kent V6 Pure Badger - 22mm x 50mm knot - Again another brush that outperforms its label, no prickle or scritch at all, though maybe a little scrubby.  Great backbone on this knot and the handle shows a nice light butterscotch patina that should darken further as it ages. $40 SOLD!

Geo F. Trumper (Rooney) Keyhole Best Badger - 21mm x 55mm knot - This has the softest tips of the bunch, feeling much more like Super than Best.  The tall loft is offset by a tall glue bump which again makes this brush easily capable of face lathering with.  While not a floppy mop it is not a scrubber either.  Another light butterscotch handle that will age beautifully.  $50 SOLD!

Simpson 54 Best Badger (Made for Gimbels) - 18mm x 44mm knot - This is a very rare size no longer available from Simpson.  You won't find many out there and not likely in as good of shape.  This has the densest knot of the bunch and the hair is absolutely magical.  I have three other butterscotch 50 series and this one gets used the least, that said I won't be sad if it doesn't sell.  $95

Here is another beautiful and rare Simpson from my collection. This one has been restored with a Virginia Sheng Silvertip knot which measure 26mm x 29mm. The tips are silky soft and the low loft combined with the density provide excellent backbone. If I didn't own four other AS series brushes this would not be available for sale. The handle is in excellent shape. The knot does shed a hair or two each use, nothing drastic, and it should last for a long time, but just in case I am including an additional VS knot as a backup. The knot was set with silicone which I have already removed to ensure that switching knots would not be a hassle. I can ship as is or could silicone or epoxy in the knot at the buyer's request at no extra charge. $85
