Nice, easy weekend shave with this Viking Shaving ebonite brush - builds a great lather and paired well with the polished Timeless Ti.

^^^ Wow, seriously, that is the first ebonite handle I've seen that's made me think "damn, I want that!"

Hmmm, I have essentially been all-synth for well over a year, but I just sent Viking a request via their site request form for quote on a custom faux ivory brush with one of their badger fan knots (that I want to set/glue-in myself). The handle shape I requested seems to have originally been done in ebonite, but I am interested in some sort of composite faux ivory instead. Not sure if he can accommodate this specific request, but if so, this will be the first badger brush I've purchased in ~2 years.

Andrew is great - I expect he'll be able to accommodate your request - and he does just wonderful work!

Dang, he responded already, very impressed.  Says he can accommodate all my requested specs.  This is the handle I asked him to do in matte faux ivory, to fit a 26mm fan set to ~50mm loft

Nice shape - very similar to my ebonite - will look beautiful in matte faux ivory!
