There wasn’t many of these released when Milton released them so the reviews haven’t been plenty... but i have to say that this brush is really something. Super dense (most dense in my small assortment ) hand tied knot with great gel. Moderate/firm backbone due to the sheer density of the knot. Great flow through for the density level. Has anyone else been using one and if so what are your thoughts?

Honestly it's a bit too dense for me and I'm not a huge fan of the Gel Tips like I thought I would be. I've used it a few times and I know the brush will change as I use it more but it's not to my preferences, though I understand why a lot of people will love it. I have the galaxy M1 he released for reference.
Edit: Also the brush isn't for sale, as I have my reasons for keeping it regardless. So please don't PM me about it, thanks.

I’ve only done a test lather and hope to use it this weekend but here’s my quick observations.
Absolutely agree with Ruds review on YouTube where he said it was “the densest knot he’d ever come across”.
Backbone is firm but I expect that to settle out around medium firm once broken in.
The tips are super gelled to the point of feeling slimy. This level of bleaching is not my preference for knots but won’t know for sure until I use it. I was concerned that it would not lather as well due to the extreme gel but to my surprise it lathered incredibly well. I test lather all my badgers with Martin De Candre Fougere. The tips also exhibit something I’ve never felt before in a knot. When wringing out the knot by hand, the tips are so dense and clumped together that it feels like your squeezing a ring of badger hair. Really digging that.
The closest knot in my early comparison would be a Mozingo ZT2 that had the tips spend some extra time in the bleach. Of which you’d have to do yourself, haha.
As for the handle, it’s my first from Milton and I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about the pour, shape, feel, etc. It’s top notch work. The heft of the handle is impressive and I really enjoy the ergonomics.
I’ll post updates when I’ve gotten more time to spend with the knot.

It absolutely is! My friend Frank (Dragonsbeard) recommended I shampoo the knot with mild shampoo, then lather it with cheap shave soap and then finally condition it and rinse. This made a noticeable difference in reducing the slimy feeling of the gel tips.
I recently acquired one of these M1s. Handle is a bit chunky and heavy, but not ergonomically an issue. Pour is quite nice. Super dense, gelly hair. Feels like a 30mm when using it. Unsure if I would trade or sell it since I don't really deal in TNS or Milton wares, but it's a very nice add to a collection.
