ANODIZING, Need a Ti BLUEbird!

I'm down with anodizing. There is a Bluebird around. It was a Delta Echo'd example, IIRC. Not in Ti either

Is it possible to make a black ti BB? That'll be as close to the real thing as you can get in a razor.

It’s my understanding Aluminum and Titanium are the best metals to anodize.  I can’t remember why SS doesn’t take but Shane would def know! A deep purple/violet/eggplant would be outstanding too!

James, did Delta do any anodizing? I’ve only seen his cerokote work, very nice work.  I’ve used North Shore, flawless.

I’m thinking about Shane’s 101mm handle in Ti, I need that now.

Delta Echo only did cerakote, no anodizing. I'll try to dig up a picture. That guy hangs out on another forum.

I’ve been playing with it and practicing, but I have no ETA or even plans on how/if this finish will join the lineup. Once I nail it down I’ll figure out how it fits into the larger picture.

Production has been ordered and is slated to start pretty soon. I have a meeting later this week to discuss timelines and all the projects we have in production so I’ll have a clearer picture later. The plan is for a summer release.

I like how you didn’t specify which summer. Very sneaky....

Thanks for the  excitement, guys! If all my manufacturers can survive the coming months I have several cool projects in the works and more are coming. The good thing about being trapped inside for weeks is how much time I now get to spend designing.

Shane, in a somewhat related note,  is the blackbird Jet coming back at any time?   I love my blackbird machined but my eyes are craving for that Jet finish.
