Can you guys believe my razor arrived this morning??? I mean, it literally shipped out of Hong Kong on Monday morning & arrived today at 10am!
So part of the $90 cost is apparently overnight shipping!!

The razor did come in a very nice leather case. The razor looks & feels better than expected. Tolerances don’t appear to be great tho - a little wiggle room between cap & base. The handle is shorter than I was expecting & I’m very happy about that!

I’ll shave with it tonight & give a brief review afterwards. I’ll attach some photos in the mean time.

Maiden voyage is in the books.

Set up:
Suppaparts Ti
GD - Wonderland
Gillette 7 o’clock Black
Synthetic brush

**Although I mentioned earlier that there was wiggle room in the head - there was zero issues with blade alignment. **

Started on the 2-3 side. Expected to maintain this throughout the shave. Straight away, side 2 feels efficient, nice, but not very smooth - switched to side 3 - immediate improvement in smoothness & slight increase in efficiency. So far, this was going well. One side of the face done, time to switch to the neck - and here is where it gets interesting.
I quickly realized the logic behind the head design. My neck doesn’t appreciate an aggressive razor as much as my cheeks. This is the first razor that can accommodate both. BOOM!!! I was able to simply turn the razor around & lean on side 2. It was a real pleasure.

For pass 2 I switched things up & went to the 1-4 side of the base plate. Figured I’d see a more stark contrast to implement my new strategy & O M G - it delivered. Side 4 was a touch more efficient while never feeling rough & side 1 was available for any area that might need buffing/touch ups.

There is one issue that concerns me - I don’t believe the top cap was machined from a solid piece. It appears that the posts were soldered on to the cap. In the short run, it’s not a deal breaker - but you have to figure that’s a weakness that could be a problem as the piece ages.

Overall, I find this razor to be a fantastic shaver & a very interesting design that will certainly be put to use in my den. I consider this a keeper.

The price point is hard to beat. Add in the nice leather case, titanium razor & overnight shipping and I’d say these guys have a real contender on their hands.

I hope I’ve included enough details & that my experience helps someone who might’ve been on the fence.

The handle looks like a blatant rip off of the RazoRock halo handle. And that is strange that the posts are soldered on. Seems like it would be more work to do it that way all while creating a weak point as you mentioned. Anywho, I'm glad the razor worked out well for you on its maiden voyage. Enjoy it!

The fact that the top cap is not machined from solid put me off completely. As we have seen with the Rocca, this will go wrong at one point. No thanks

My thoughts exactly. Looks like a slightly longer version of RR's handle.

Might look like a Halo handle but the grip is much better. I have this razor and it shaves extremely nice. Side 4 is fairly aggressive but 2-3 just perfect for me. My only minor complaint about this razor is blade alignment. You have to adjust slightly to get it perfect.

I was just thinking the other day someone needs to make a lightweight adjustable.

Not quite this way though, very strange way to do it. Kind of like an uglier Rockwell with a super long handle. Seems like a pain only being able to use one side of the DE if you have a setting you like.

I’ll write up a brief review once it comes in.

haha I knew someone will bite and go for it, now we have you test it for us. Look if it turns out to suck I think least we can do here on the forums is you start pass around and all that join in sends you $5 via PP. You should get 10-20 peeps joining the pass around and get some of your money back. If the razor turns out to be winner then your all good

now that's an interesting idea! Rent a Razor. Blagoja gets the IP, trademark's mine Wink.
