I can’t wait for a more efficient base plate. I LOVED the looks and hated to send mine back but it was too mild to have seen much use.

I’m a bit confused on how the razor is considered so mild. I will say this if you want blade feel this is not your razor. However on my first shave, even with me playing with the razor throughout the shave to find the right shaving angle, I was able to get a pretty fantastic shave. All that said it felt very smooth but shaved efficiently and I pretty much ended up with a shave that came close to rivaling my Timeless .68SB.

Time will tell if it’s beginners luck but yeah I’m clean shaven and the shave was probably one of the most comfortable I’ve experienced to match the result I got which was darn near BBS.

This is great to hear. I ordered it based on the thinking it would pair well with the .95 OC I have. The 95 is more than I want to use daily although it is exceptional on thicker growth. I'm hoping the Bronze be better used daily/every other.

Please keep us posted on your thoughts.

Had another solid smooth shave today with the Bronze. I’m still figuring it out but I think my biggest technique issue with the razor is leaning on it too much. This is probably the heaviest razor I own and I can’t seem to compensate for that in my technique. Tomorrow I’m stepping down from a Gillette Silver Blue (thought sharpness was required due to all the reports of mildness) to an Astra SP. I’m also going to lighten up on the pressure. This razor definitely shaves a bit differently than what I’m used to from Timeless so I’ll make the adjustment and see what we got.

If you're having trouble with applying too much pressure, try holding the razor at the bottom of the handle. It might not work for you, but it made a difference in shaves.

Went back to my trusty stainless Timeless SB.68 today. Hate to say it but I agree with everyone that this Bronze timeless isn’t the shaver the .68 is. The Bronze is a beauty but it’s just a different shave experience. Closer shave with my .68 and there was just something about it I like better.

After a week of solid use, the Bronze is a keeper for me.  Since it was mentioned in an earlier post, I went back to my trusty .95 Ti For a comparison shave.  Was it the same shave, no since it is a different razor.  Does the Bronze give as good a shave as the .95 Ti?  Similar but different.  Different how?  I could use the Bronze as a “no brainer”daily driver, similar to the Oneblade.  What I can say Is the Bronze Timeless doesn’t necessarily stand out in the shave department but where it shines is ....well the shine!  It’s an impressive razor that gives a sold shave in its own right.  It doesn’t replace my .95 Ti, or my Toggle or any other razor I keep in my stable, it just assumes a spot on the rotation.

The Bronze Timeless is an absolute beauty of a razor for sure. It so nice to look at I wanted to love the shave. Sadly for me, that just wasn’t the case.

As someone who ditched the .68oc when I discovered the .95oc, I knew the Bronze wouldn’t get the love it deserves from me. Razors are definitely a YMMV a thing because I find the .95 and .95oc to be very easy to use and not overly aggressive. They shave extremely efficiently but feel mild to my face.

I love this razor! It’s mild but still very efficient and shaves me very close, most comfortable razor I’ve used, much like the charcoal goods level 1 but this razor being the best upper lip razor I’ve tried, there’s a spot in the middle that dips on the upper lip that’s pretty hard for most razor to shave cleanly, this bronze razor handles it with no problems. For me this is one of the best daily razors out there and the price makes it a steal.

sadly, i returned mine last Friday. I hope i didn't make a mistake. it's a beautiful razor but it was just a bit too mild for me. it just didnt get enough usage. has anyone heard of timeless releasing a more aggressive base plate for this stunning razor?
