Didn't they get clobbered with the 63" that Erie got? That doesn't look too deep using the neighbor's shed for a reference.

No, Phil, we didn't get socked in like Erie, Pennsylvania.  The roads are clear of snow and we have been able to go out to do some food shopping without trouble.  The Buffalo region is funny. Very often, the southern part of Erie County, where Buffalo is located, can get socked in with lake effect snow while the northern part of the county gets little.  As you saw from my photo, the few inches of snow we received in the northeast part of the county is easily managed yet the southern part of the county got up to 18 inches.

Hey, Andrew, after 42 years of living in San Diego, I have become an official weather wuss.Tongue. What surprises me is how fast I readapt to winter weather when I come back for a visit.
