Re: Ebay.
I was able to create a listing for my razor by logging into Ebay UK.
For 28 pence, I will be able to make sure it is visible on Ebay US and Canada
as well.

Still haven't tried posting the ad yet, so we shall see. Chatted with a Ebay CS rep
and he said that Payoneer registration is a must to sell on any Ebay site. Ugh!

I have only sold one thing on the bay since the new paradigm. So instead of paypal I had to wait a couple of days and the $ were deposited into my account.

I'm retired, on social security, with a small pension from the ironworker's union, so I'd have to sell a hell of a lot to go to a bracket where I'd have to pay taxes on it.

Still, ebay charges such high final value fees now that it discourages me from using them. I have a collection of high end 'premium' Bibles but they get 15% final value on books.

I've got other venues on the web, Facebook for one, where I can sell Bibles, razors, collectible pocket knives. Paypal still gets their 3% but it beats the hell out of ebay.

It did occur to me that they may do this intentionally to dissuade the small fry who only sell
used goods once in a blue moon.

Their customer base is probably the small businesses that chalk up in excess of a few hundred transactions
a month. Just a guess.

My latest project is rebuilding a 10 speed hybrid bike and Ebay has been great for sourcing discontinued
NOS parts.

This is the Wolfman feature that has always seemed like something that would make it harder to resell later at close to full original value (which lots of sellers still seem to want/expect). Some of these razors with dual combs and/or different gaps are just so customized, that the chances of someone wanting the exact same combo and willing to pay for it seems extremely slim. Especially when you take different handle options and finishes into consideration too...
