Feathers. After trying probably 2 dozen blades over the period of a year, the feather was a strong favorite and I stopped trying other blades. Been using a feather every day for the last 10 years or so. Sometimes I think I should try some others now that this much time has passed, but when something ain't broke...

For DE blades I've used almost exclusively Bic Chrome Platinum blades for the past 10+ years. I'll use other blades when I get a tuck or 2 a seller includes with a razor or if it is something I want to evalute like when I bought a tuck of Dollar Store DE blades to see if they were any good or not.

Personna Red was my go too years ago too. Ever use a Wizamet Max? Happy to send you some to try if you want. Just pm your shipping info if you want.

Dave in KY  Trust me, I tried them all so no need. I actually got rid of all my Wizamets and I have a bunch of others I will be offloading. That doesn't mean it's a bad blade it just doesn't hold a candle to the reds which just feel awesome from the first until the last shave in any of my DE's. They work for me, the Wiz didn't.

No problem and I respect that. Red's are a great blade. Just thought I'd offer if you hadn't tried. Sounds like you have your winner. Cheers Happy2
