The next Rocnel Sailor Adjustable.... Beefy!

Man oh man, the pics are professional photography worthy my man!! I’m going to keep going up in gaps until I can’t take it anymore. Yep, call me crazy but I just have to know how much I can take with the “Beast”! I’m doing some comparisons right now of the highest gap Wolfies and the 2019 and 2020 Sailors. Used my 1.55 today and will use the 2019 day after tomorrow and then the 1.65 and then the 2020 again.

Well I finely got to try the 2019 Sailor as a friend of mine sent me his to try for a while. So because of some of the reviews I’ve read and know I was going to have it for a while I thought I’d start out by loading a Polsilver in it and not going with my favorite Feather right away and starting with the M setting. Knowing that it had shipped out to me I let my beard grow out and for this first shave with it I ended up with 4 1-2 days growth which nowadays is a good 2 plus days longer than I normally go between shaves so I thought it will be a good test for the Sailor. The razor felt heavier than my 2017 I had and sold and thank God they got rid of the Jet fighter injection seat top cap feature on that model! Any it took a few strokes to get used to the weight but once I dialed it in it was a smooth yet surprisingly efficient razor at that setting. I was able to around my mouth and under my nose with ease I didn’t feel threatened by the razor at all at this setting but also aware I have a tall ladder to climb up as far as the efficiency capabilities of this razor from what I’ve read and been told so looking forward to the journey. So I ended up with a 2 plus WTG/ATG WITH some buffing entry level or what some might call a short lived BBS shave that lasted about 6 hrs or so before I felt some stubble starting to surface. Id say pretty darn good for being on a mild setting considering the amount of growth I had so i had a very pleasant first shaving experience with the 2019 Sailor and looking forward to dialing the settings up a couple of notches on the next shave. Also have to say the razors a great looking razor.

Absolutely went for it this morning! Highest gap possible on the 2020. I nicknamed this the double dot shave and it was absolutely epic!

Shoot...that thing is stunning! I loved the aesthetics of the Sailor with the brass ring but whoa, maybe it’s the head that’s completing that entire Bold and Beefy look. Beautiful Loot, great images.

Thx friend. My razor is an all SS prototype, Murat made 4 of them. Look at George's, he has the Model S (same geometry as my prototype) but with 24kt accents and wider grooved knurling. You may like it...better than brass? If you want an all SS similar to mine, wait a bit and he is supposed to release some of those. You probably need one of them.
