The New BSSW Beehive Now Available

Gentlemen,

Given the number of requests for the new BSSW Beehive, Nancy and I are happy to make it available as a regular item in our Custom Catalog [here].

As background, although I've enjoyed the Beehive shape for quite a while, I was not entirely happy with our original offering.  At 50mm in diameter, the 28mm brush handle, while very ergonomic, felt a bit large in my hand.  At the same time, I thought the rounded ferrule lacked something in visual interest.  Fast forwarding to about two weeks ago, Nancy received an order for a CHS in English Butterscotch with an English Butterscotch belt.  After completing the custom CHS (below), it became obvious that the CHS could easily be turned into a Beehive.  The subsequent "Bi-Colour" version (shown above) is a more svelte 45mm (maximum) diameter and (I think) has even better ergonomics than our original.

The first new Beehive sold quickly and was soon followed by requests for more.  Ergo....
