The Fragrance that is similar to a shaving soap/cream thread

I find Nuavia Blu pairs well with either Caron Pour un Homme or Caron Third Man. There seems to be Caron DNA in the Blu, to my nose.

I've found the same thing. To my nose, the 3eme Homme is closer to the Nuàvia Blue than the Pour un Homme, but they both work very well.

And while they're not an exact match, I've liked the combination of Acqua di Parma Colonia and either the Nuàvia Rossa or Verde.

Stirling Piacenza, RazoRock XxX, and CRSW Puro Fresco all pair, obviously, will the AdP Colonia.

I tried the Caron Yagatan to pair with the Barrister Leviathan, but didn't like the fragrance. I've been having good results with either the L'Occitane Le Eau de Beaux, or Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille.

I bet Claus can chime in with his knowledge, perhaps he knows of a scent closer to Rossa but Jubilation is the only one I have that reminded me of this soap.

I couldn't agree more about Verde. I didn't like it as much as the other two, it was so.. out of place in that line up. Nuavia Verde actually reminds me of SV 70th. Albeit it's a little smoother, but the cologne-ish aquatic vibe is also prominent along with that bitter lime zest in the background.

I rarely like citrus, but in such irony, two of my top 3 favorites has citrus notes prominent in their DNA such as Creed Aventus (Bergamot) and AdP Colonia (Sicilian Citrus).

I own all the 3 Nuavias.

I don't see the similarty between Nuavia Blue and Caron Third Man.

However to my nose Nuavia Rossa is a very close clone of Amouage Epic Man.
I don't get any similarities between Amoluage Jubilation XXV and Nuavia Rossa - but noses are different, there is no right or wrong in this game.

I own both Amoage Epic Man and Jubilation XXV and several other Amouage. I'm sure Marco tried to duplicate Epic Man with his Nuavia Rossa. It's a very well made clone.

I love the scent of Rossa, it's dark, Oud-y while still being pleasant. Right up my alley.  While at that, which one is your favorite Amouage? I have only tried Lyric and Jubilation.

Rossa is definitely very much akin to Amouage. I agree with Claus that Epic Man is the closest. However, Rossa pairs nicely with both Jubilation XXV & Interlude Man as well.

I find that Nuavia Rossa smells quite similar to Tom Ford Santal Blush. A very lovely scent in my opinion.

Just recently tried DR Harris Windsor, and at first I coulnd't quite put my finger on what perfume it reminds me of, and it hit me today. Versace Man Eau Fraiche.

Acqua di Parma Colonia > Bullgoose Shaving's Asylum Colonia.

This soap is manufactured by Saponificio Verasino (Beta 4.1 with addition of Argan oil). Perfect clone of the fragrance. Reading customer reviews on BS website, someone pretended that this soap match with AdP Essenza rather than with Colonia. It is not (I owned both Colognes). Colonia is the perfect match.

Any idea of soap to pair with AdP Essenza?

Anybody have a scent that matches or pairs up well with Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica? My wife absolutely loves the smell of this soap and a complimentary fragrance would make her even happier. Happy wife, happy life and all...

Nuavia Blu and Caron Third Man are like brothers to me; very similar, very complimentary
Nuavia Rossa, due to it's oud-like deep woody effect, does indeed remind me of a few Amouage scents, with Epic Man likely closest, but I get where people would think of Jubilation XXV too
Fine American Blend is indeed similar to Rive Gauche Pour Homme, as intended
B&M Leviathan pairs well, for me, with Dior Leather Oud

I am using Encre Noire today and I was reminded of Jabonman's Tierra Humeda.
