That is true — it would be better to minimize instead of maximize some aspects of this hobby. And in addition to that, doing what I described would effectively almost double the amount of jars that I currently have, which could cause some issues…. Maybe using the method on a limited rotation would make sense.

Matthew, the increase in the number of containers is what makes this sound unappealing to me.  Now, if I limited myself to just a few soaps, then maybe? Probably not much of a chance of soap inventory reduction with me, I suppose. Big Grin

The approach I’m forming here is definitely not very practical for someone with a large amount of soaps. (Unless they decide to use just a few at a time.) It would probably work well for someone who has settled on their favorite few soaps and keeps acquiring those same soaps.

With a limited rotation, what I’m thinking is that you could have your “partial soaps” in or near the shaving area, while the original soap containers could then be stored somewhere entirely different (since storage space in bathrooms can sometimes be very limited).

Anyway, just a thought. All brought on by the bloom…  Confused2

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
