Dan:  that’s funny stuff right there.  Never thought to go to the dealership for a dump but then again, Porsche isn’t as big a deal as Ford in my lonely part of Idaho.  After your post on Merkur bankruptcy It’s obvious I would want to get to know you.

Why not defecate in a Porsche dealership?  After all, Porsche has been defecating all over its enthusiast following since relocating HQ to Atlanta and hiring some of the truly worst educated employees in North America - bringing us rebadged VW SUV at a 2-3x multiple, butt ugly comic book autos such as Panamera and 991/2 designed stretched so Chinese businessmen can be chauffeured.  Porsche, unfortunately but by their own account, rates being defecated upon

Seems to be the way of things.  I had a buddy who drove a 911 Carrera Turbo back in the late 70s.  Fun car but liked my Road Runner better.

That's a great question and one I'm going to do some research on.  I believe we all need to buy American when we can and recognize how difficult that can be.  We have our choice of only one DE blade. Also, country of origin is not always easy to locate on websites but I will start on a search engine asking for American made bidet and go from there.

Here is one that is an American company - I can't tell you if its made in the USA because they don't discuss on the website.

I installed a Toto toilet with a washlet bidet seat when we renovated the master bedroom/bathroom a few years ago.  My wife and I are both happy with it.  The warm seat, when not warmed by a previous occupant, is nice in the winter and the auto open feature that sense your approach, turns on a night light, opens the lid and pre-mists the bowl (helps minimize "dirt" adherence in low flow) is great.  The night light is a nice safety feature for those of us who have to relieve ourselves in the middle of the night.  Apparently tripping and falling when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night is a common household accident as you get older.

THAT is masterful marketing. Taking the humble loo and elevating it to the price of a respectable used auto without reliance on precious metal construction is brilliant!  Add in realizing every ethnic stereotype of Asians regarding incorporating sophisticated electronics into every single element of life, even human waste disposal, and this the material of Brit sketch comedy.

Toto should be considered the premiere marketing company in the world, forget P&G or Coke; these folk elevated the game to another universe within another dimension. Kudos Toto, you truly are “all encompassing in entirety”.
