I have both as well, absolutely love Otium

However, IMHO it is designed to be used in conjunction with the Ethos Skin Food. By itself, the post shave feel of Ethos soap is not as good as I would hope. If you can afford the combination, I am sure it will be superb.
That hasn’t been my experience at all. Ethos…especially with the newer F base…it works incredibly well in giving me an excellent post shave without the use of any post shave products. With any soap…I always put any leftover lather on my face immediately for a few minutes after I shave while I clean up the sink, etc. Then I wash it off with cool water. My results with Ethos has been nothing short of outstanding as far as post shave feel and conditioning. In fact,.that great feeling and suppleness actually increases a few hours after my shave and lasts for hours.

IMO, one of the originals is still the very best: Mike’s.
Simple ingredients; slickest soap I’ve ever used; amazing post-shave feel and clean, natural scents.
No pretense, no hype, no BS “drops”; affordable, honest. . . soap. Period.
Pucks available if you have empty tubs laying around. This stuff sits alone on the top shelf. There are other soaps that are also very good, but why go chase unicorns?

100 percent agree, Mike's Natural Soap is one of my Top 3! Shannon's Soaps is another.

I feel like zingari soaps does not get as much praise as it deserves. it's one of the best soaps available on the market and performs excellently on every metric - post shave/slickness/ease of lathering. Also, their scents are intoxicating. My personal favourites are - The navigator, The gent and The gatherer

I've heard great things about their new vegan base, which I want to try as well but Sego is top notch.
