Thanks Eric. Jannik definitely takes the "art" in "artisan" seriously.

So, I finally will give my thought about this first A/C style razor from Tatara. I have bought, used and sold quite a few single edge A/S format razors over the last few years. A lot of them are too aggressive for my skin condition and also the "topography" of my neck area (some may call it Turkey neck...). From these only two stayed with me: my all time favorite Yaqi Romulus and the Atelier Durdan La Faulx. My blade choices I have whittled down to Kai Protouch MG. These were the ones I started out with the Amakuni. For me the razor was a bit more aggressive than I really wanted it to be. I really like the design of this razor, and the magnetic connection of the two parts, genius. Tried it a few more times, and eventually tried Feather Softguard based on a friends recommendation. These worked really fine with the Akamuni and I got good shaves. Will try it one more time tomorrow and then ship out to the next participant.

The basic one, I think it is now called Classic. When I got mine there was only one to get, the others were added later, or i did not see them as the site was then all French.
