Tapatalk is great to use on smartphones, when screen estate is smaller, even on the 5-6" smartphones, Tapatalk is so much easier to use to read forums on.

The benefits are, that you can have all your forums on one site, and you don't even visit the login site, it goes directly on to the forum.

Once you have tried it for some time, it's very difficult not to continue to use it, because it just works so much faster and easier - and if you use the white letters on black theme in the app, everything is just so much more readable on the go.

Sure the regular browsers will do just fine, but to my eyes and on my iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus, Tapatalk is just far superior as forum reader.

I have tried it, I hate it, it is (for me!) garbage.

Cool, I have thought about downloading it before but never got around to it. Maybe I'll give it a go.

Interesting Freddy - one mans gold, another mans garbage.

Tapatalk is a golden app to me, and one of the apps I most frequently use on my two smartphones, I simply love it !

Honestly, Claus, I tried it and absolutely could not understand its appeal.  However, (and this is why I stated "for me!") when I asked, Doug (wingdo) explained its appeal and I can understand that.  On the flip side, I am 70 years old, retired, no longer live by anyone's rules, least of all a smartphone's, and so, use what works best for me.  Perhaps I, as a retiree, am out of the loop and have the time to indulge what works for me, or I have genuinely found something that just works better (DFS's smartphone look), or simply do not want another problem, in this case TapaTalk.  Ultimately, as you state, Claus, it truly is up to the individual. Smile

Just to understate the problem. This entire post with quotation by Freddy is blank in Tapatalk.

My phones are iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus.

In my experience, it just makes the forums less enjoyable. I uninstalled it years ago. I use the full desktop version on Chrome, too.
