Ahh damn - that really makes no sense does it? The joys of the postal system…

I send my cousin two soaps who is a nurse in München and these  2 soaps under 0.5 Cost me $45 to Germany with no tracking provided that would cost even more.. 
I don’t ask why this that it’s what it is unfortunately..

Just received Cognac. Can't wait to try it. Scent off the puck is already pretty amazing. The new labels are total class. Nice work Ryan!

Just received Cairo, Cognac and (new) Morocco. Wow!  All of them smell fantastic.

Damn.. I think shipping to Germany is more expensive than the rest of Europe for some reason.

I shaved with Cognac this morning. Very nice.    It’s a light cognac scent which has some similarities to B&M Fireside (duh, cognac). Certainly not the same though, I found the splash to be more complex. Love it.

I totally agree. This cognac accord was very well balanced, sophisticated and gourmand as well. Love it. I was a big fan of B & M Fireside and have been looking for something to replace it. This one fits the bill and then some. I think it will do very well for T & S.

Thanks guys! This is great to hear. It's one of my favourite spirits and I've been drinking it for many years, so I'm glad I didn't mess it up!

Boreal and Sicily sets arrived here yesterday - thank you Ryan @ Tallow + Steel. Kudos to Canada Post too. The package took less time to reach me in Virginia than within CONUS First Class parcels have been running.

On a separate note, I have locked down my setup for the month of May, and I can hardly wait for June to give Boreal and Sicily a go.

My order arrived today. Just over a week to cross the Atlantic, that was quick!   Can't wait to try them in the next few days!

I have noticed that the color of the labels has rubbed off somewhat on the sides (in four places opposite to each other) with white coming through. Also a bit on the edge of the top label of the soap packed below the other one. Looks like the packaging is too tight, as there's some purple visible on the cardboard, and I guess the stacked tubs move against each other. Didn't happen with the old labels, though, so maybe it has something to do with the new label material?

Well I'd certainly be happy if that was a new trend that was here to stay. Canada Post rates have gone up - so maybe that means faster service? (wishful thinking..). Enjoy!
