ROFLMAO... Does nobody f'ing read? That's my review (in the comments) - nobody misrepresented anything and the n00b certainly didn't own anyone.

Which review?

Dude, what are you talking about? Nobody was "owned". It was some tool trying to kick up drama where there was none. So what, he made a small negative comment about a soap and the fanboys come out of the woodwork outraged. Just silly...

This is The link to the review. It doesn’t seem like he was owned. To me it just feels like someone overly loves the product and doesn’t like to see anything negative on it. If a person has a negative experience about the product that’s fine. Me as an owner I’d like to see this stuff in an unbiased form so that I am able to decipher if I want to change things for another run or leave it the same. Who knows maybe he had a poor water to soap ratio or the scuttle could be too shallow. I don’t know what the case is here as the performance on mine was excellent, but I didn’t use a scuttle. In any such way I appreciate reviews like this they show honesty and people need honesty when they can’t go to physical location smell and buy this stuff. It’s tough to assume attributes by others subjective opinions.

Let's get some things straight. I love T+S and I've been with Ryan since the beginning and own nearly every product. I'm not new to lathering or using a scuttle; I've used the latter for nearly every shave in the last 4+ years. Most importantly, my experience wasn't negative. For this one shave, the lather needed repeated whipping up as it wasn't stable in the scuttle. I think it's very weird and certainly a first for me with T+S. I have two more products to review and will be paying close attention to see what's going on here.

If I have to, I'll post a side-by-side video of v2 and v3 - both in and out of a scuttle - to prove my point.

But again, right now, it stands as a fluke - and I love T+S regardless, which I hold in the highest regard.

BP I'd leave it alone. You can't win the internet and especially things relating to 4chan.

Your in the same spot I was in for Chatillion Lux and Declaration. Love their stuff but was disappointed in the Santal Auster launch. That viewpoint gets the fanboys out and in my case the artisans themselves got upset.

I don't see that with Ryan. Nothing in the review was bashing and normal people understand that not all bathrooms are created equal.

From personal experience I'd leave it alone at this point.

I guess I say two wrongs don't make a right.

I did originally delete that post. Not sure what forum gods kept it up though.

Doesn't matter. You were getting questions about the stability item before I posted. The 4chan thread has only fueled Frenchy currently.

Guys, it’s all good.

I welcome all opinions, and hope that everyone shares their honest opinions.

BoarderPhreak - i’d recommend more water with V3. It performs best when you add too much water where it almost floods, and then lather the water out of it.

Yea you have to be care around here! I recently made a recommendation to a member here for a different brush maker and I got a chain of e-mails from a well respected brush maker and a member here waving the finger at me for not recommending his company and belittling me as a customer. WTF has these forums come to where you can’t respectfully express your honest opinion without having people jump down your throats and harass you.
