I have been wet shaving for over five years, I love using a variety of products. One product I thoroughly enjoy trying are blades, I'm not a one blade type
I do have several I like. I recently ordered blades picking both my favorites and others that I had not heard of.
One of the blades I choose was from the family of Super Max blades, called Dollar Platinum. I'm a fan of Super Max blades most of them have delivered
decent shaves.
I just finished a four day three passes each day with the Dollar blade. I was surprised how comfortable and close the shaves were. I used a ball ended
Gillette open comb. It stayed sharp for all twelve passes and touch -ups. I would rate the sharpness an 8.5. Comfort at a 9.5.
I would definitely now included it among my favorites. Proves that sometimes unheard of blades can be a pleasant surprise.
