Hey DFS!

Now that we've delivered our first batch of razors, we wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you that supported us along the way. We're fans of all the forums, but members of DFS in particular went out of their way to welcome us to the community and support our efforts. We never could have done it without our backers and preorder customers. Thank you!

We're getting amazing feedback on the Single Edge, but we're not done yet! We have tons more exciting products in the pipeline, and we want you to know about it here first.

First up - we have some killer shave accessories that we truly think are the best available on the market. In the coming weeks we're going to spotlight them here and offer some deep discounts / giveaways to promote them. Subscribe to this thread to be notified!

Best,

Patrick, any news on when the second batch will ship? I'm on the list for the second batch, I believe. Thanks.

Nothing to share at the moment, but hopefully in the next week or so. We've been bringing on a new supplier, and I'm very impressed with their capabilities so far. I'm hesitant to put date on anything yet, but we're pushing as hard as we can. I'll keep all the v2 customers updated via email as soon as we have something to share.

Hey folks!

First up on our product spotlight is our Silvertip Synthetic Brush. We're very excited to introduce this brush to you because we believe it is truly the best value on the market. In designing this brush, I wanted a fiber that performed better than the Muhle Synthetics, at a more reasonable price point. And we've accomplished just that. Here's a short description (more in depth details on our product page):

It's a 24mm synthetic knot with proprietary fibers that are soft to the touch but strong enough to whip up a thick, cushiony lather. It splays well - but has enough backbone to quickly return to shape. The handle is a hand-polished acrylic in a faux horn color.

Here's the best news of all. To celebrate our introduction here, we're offering DFS members an exclusive 50% off code for this brush on Amazon! Amazon gets a bad rap sometimes for providing poor quality shave gear at ridiculous prices, and we want to change that. That's why we're offering DFS members half off to try our brush - and we hope you'll consider leaving us a review so that others can find good shave gear on Amazon!

To get your personalized 50% off code, simply shoot me a DM or email at hello@getsupply.com. That's it!

Oh, and here are some pics:

A very good brush but at that price point there is alot of options in the synthetic world.

So what sets this brush apart? The light scrub.

The fibers seem to be a bit corser vs most synthetics out there so there's a decent amount of backbone while still having a bit of scrub that most synthetic brushes lack (but definitely less than natural hairs that are know for scrubbyness.). The tips are still as soft as any other synthetic.

Backbone is also present due again to the corser fibers. Less than a muhle/EJ brush due to the slightly thinner knot density, but significantly more than Plisson and it's clones.

This has become my travel brush dues to that wonderful combination of scrubyness and decent backbone. My other travel brush is a synthetic Simpsons case brush that still has the backbone of a lumberjack despite its small size (bit lacking a but of scurb).

Only downside is the prominent 'glue bump'. For the price and for a travel brush I don't mind, but for some people this would be a major con... I hope other brushes have less pronounced or no bump at all.

Apologies for typos and grammar. I'm on my phone.

Hey everyone!

Our spotlight this week is on our newly released Tallow Shave Soap in Barbershop. This ain't your grandpa's barbershop. It's a refreshing bergamot base blended with a touch of basil leaf, oakmoss, and cedarwood. Sweet enough for a night out, but sharp enough for a day at work.

To celebrate, we're currently doing a giveaway on Instagram! Hit the link below to check it out.

We're also offering FREE shipping on our website for any order that includes our Barbershop Tallow Shave Soap. Simply use the code BARBERSHOP.
