Ginger, magnolia (lemony sweet, but not like lemonade), amber, oak moss.

Kind of guessing & just playing around. I have no clue if this sounds appealing or not.

I like the sound of this one, although I am not a clove fan and wouldn't want that part to be to strong but other than that it sounds very nice, a bit desert island like!

Now this is a sweet mix in every meaning of the word, I think you are right about adding a earth component but it would only need to be subtle to take the sting out of the sweetness, love it!
