Razor: Razorock Wunderbar
Brush: Semogue 610 Boar
Soap: Razorock XXX
Aftershave: Razorock Evil Eye Lime Tonic
Man, sure looks like I'm a Razorock Fanboy with this shave. Haha. What can I say, it's great working man's gear. Inexpensive and sure does perform well.
The Wunderbar is quite aggressive. I gotta take things slow with it since not only is it aggressive, but cuts differently as a slant razor. The result is always a very close shave. It's the only slant left in the Den.
I was gifted this tub of XXX and was honestly surprised how much I liked it. A 5 oz tub is only $10 and hits way above its price point. The lather was thick, and held up like a champ through 4 full passes. Never got foamy or broke down. The scent is Italian Colonia. Inspired by Acqua di Parma Colonia Classica. I really need to pickup the matching splash for this one. Today I used RR Evil Eye Lime. I'm a big fan of these Tonics. They also have a Lavender and a Eucalyptus/Tea Tree offering. They're all loaded with some impressive ingredients/skin food.
I've always had a strange attraction to the little Semogue 610 Boar. I purchased one about 8 years ago and quickly bonded with it. Yes, the knot is small and I have to load it a couple times, but it just somehow works for me. Plus, I love the looks of the handle/logo.
Well, I'm about to head south (near Seattle) for big shot #2. Wish me luck!
Good Luck! Hydrate, the second can be a doozy after a day or two, with body aches, headache, etc. I had the Moderna, and had a couple of hours of "fun" in the middle of the night, but whether it was ibuprofen, water, or sleep, it subsided and I had no further effects.
And I like the logo/brush as well, but I never was able to bond with a boar, too stiff for me and I am impatient with breaking on in. And then I found the SynBads, and that was that!

I believe you are correct, Tylenol is the preferred analgesic. At 2 AM, I wasn't thinking about it, just that Vitamin I is my goto pain med!

I’m not completely done with it yet, but figured I would share
Yes... light up top, darker on the bottom. Not sure why it cured that way, but I kinda like it. I still haven’t polished it fully.
