Some say Joshua Tree is U2's best album. But I like them all!!

Have a great time! Business or family time? Or am I skim reading again, lol!

Hey Eric.

I concur it’s U2’s best album Wink

It’s a family vacation. We needed a break from the rainforest so we came to the desert!

Headed out to San Diego now…

Been using the same setup all week while on vacation in SoCal. The Henson is a great travel razor. Light weight, fun to use…. Efficient enough. The more I use the G5C knot, the more I like it. A&E SoCal Hipster has a wonderful pineapple/banana/pink pepper scent and excellent performance/post shave. The Van Der Hagen blades were the only thing I could find at the store after I got off the plane. They work well for me on the first use, but are pretty mediocre after that. The Snakebite splash was great for the hot weather.

Rather than posting a pic of shaving gear, I’ll share this picture of The Salton Sea. Very interesting place!

Headed out to San Diego now…

I was down in SD a couple days that week too, had a get-together with some buddies from school that are still living down there.
What part of town did you guys stay in? I trust you had a good time, hopefully you got to enjoy some good mexican food and craft beer.

Thanks for sharing your honest experience with the Overlander razor. It's always great to hear about different shaving techniques and products.
It's a shame that shimming the razor didn't work out as well as you hoped. I can imagine that a more aggressive shave can lead to some irritation and discomfort. It's all about finding the right balance between closeness and comfort.
On a completely different note, have you checked out any literary magazines for new writers lately? I was browsing through some of the options on Reedsy's blog and there are so many interesting ones out there. I'm thinking about submitting some of my writing to a few of them.
