Honestly this point of copies has been rehashed enough. I feel that this discussion is side tracking the purpose of this thread. Start a thread about copies and discuss the merits and pitfall there.

Does Stork have the production capacity to possibly have a USA retail outlet? I don't have a problem with the present buying situation, but another option couldn't hurt.

As to SS and perhaps even Bronze, I did correspond with Andrei about these options as although I have a number of Ti handles I actually prefer heftier on a regular basis. Tras Krom did mention that it was a possibility moving forward.

That's great. I love the RWD, but it isn't a serious consideration in titanium. Now, in stainless steel, I would be itching at the PayPal button.

All this talk has me thinking about the titanium RWD again.

It's too bad they removed their blog, because they had some really close up photos that showed the quality of lathing and attention to detail. I'm not badmouthing Windrose, for they are 25% of the price of Storks, but you can really see the difference in quality between the two. You don't see tooling lathe marks in the Storks like you do the Windrose. The tolerances of the cutting are much more precise with the Storks. Does everyone need, or even care, about that kind of thing? Probably not, so it is great that we have both as options. Some days we aren't going to want to drop $130 on a rod of metal, so we aren't going to sweat a tool marking here or there.

They have a facebook page. Some nice pictures there. I don't do facebook, but was able to actually see the'r pics unlike some pages that get a big log in wall covering them. Never understood how that worked?
