Hi guys I'm planning on putting a glass storage unit in my room but unfortunately it will be in contacted with the sun shinning in through my room so I'm worried this may damage my badger brushes, soaps and Razors. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or experience storing your gear in the sunlight

Personally, I would never keep any shaving items in direct sunlight as it can damage many things besides shaving accessories.
I would put it in a room with not as much direct light, or if you can, place it in your room away from direct sunlight.
Good luck.

Sunlight will age and harden things must faster than you'd want. Maybe stainless steel and brass razors would be okay, but I'd take care with coatings. Soaps will definitely lose their mojo when exposed to excess heat, which is a catalyst.
