GlazedBoker is a great guy, great customer and I am astounded by his support and dedication to Stone Cottage Shaving! I look forward to his next visit to the store!

I just want everyone to know that I now offer our two newest fragrances, "Leather & Smoke" and " Coconut Sandalwood" in our 3 oz. size and it is also available to order in our 3 oz. Two Pack! I made new batches of each, scented them, packed each container by hand, labelled all of them, photographed them, photo-edited each pick and shrink-wrapped them all up and posted them on both Stone Cottage Soapworks and Stone Cottage Shaving sites this afternoon! They are ready for purchase whether you buy a single container at $10 or opt for a Two Pack at $18! Come by and check them out!

Folks,

After four months of hours of daily research and experimentation, I am happy to say that Stone Cottage Soapworks Premium Shaving Cream has gone into production this week and our first scent we will be producing will be "Patchouli"! I have several scents I have been considering and they will be added one by one to our offerings as time permits. We will be producing a soft, pliable pearlescent paste that will still give you the same kind of voluminous lather of our current product with great slip and glide and wonderful post-shave skin-feel!

Monday, I spent the afternoon cleaning and prepping the work room for this project. Tuesday, I weighed, measured and prepared all of the ingredients I needed and got everything organized. Yesterday, I started making production sized batches and kept working until all four big batches were done! They need to sit for a few days then they will be homogenized again and fragrance added at that time. Next step will be filling the containers but first I have to create new labels for each new scent so I will be busy over the next few days! Soon we will be offering the new formulation for Stone Cottage Premium Shaving Cream! We can't wait for you to try it!

Stone Cottage Shaving, will you be carrying over current scents into this new formula, or will you be introducing only new scents from your massive log of scent options? (Sorry if you have already addressed this question somewhere — I couldn’t recall.)

Thanks for your question! I will be gradually making the current scent offerings in the new formulation over the next several weeks and will list them as they have been completed. I am also going over my current scent offerings, deciding which ones are working well for everyone and those that don't have as much interest may be eliminated from our offerings leaving room for the possibility of the addition of other new scents! I will keep you posted as things progress! I believe that "Rose" will be included in our shaving cream offerings as we already offer "Rose" in our shaving soap and our handcrafted soap!

Sounds like a good plan, moving forward. Keep us posted here. I like the sound of rose, and acknowledge that there are a few current scents that I really need to finally try.

Update:

So far I have created 2 new scents and filled all the containers for each! "Patchouli" is our first new scent and "Balsam Fir" is our second! I have created labels for these two scents and hopefully will finish packaging them tomorrow. Labels will be applied and then they will be shrink wrapped and ready for photography. Once the photos are complete they can be uploaded to Stone Cottage Soapworks and Stone Cottage Shaving sites and be available for purchase! More tomorrow!

Today I found time to do two new scents!  "Rose" which is the same as is used in Stone Cottage Premium Shaving Soap and a new scent "Bayberry"!  Still have labels and photography to do before they can go up on the site but we're getting closer! I also have worked the formula so that there is enough for Shaving Cream Samples so I might get to those first and put them up on the site when I have the time!  The "Bayberry" is a handsome new scent which I think will appeal to the rugged outdoorsy type guys out there! There is quite a bit of it found in Massachusetts, where I originally came from and I can remember picking it while walking with my grandparents on Cape Cod during the 1960's.

Balsam Fir and Bayberry both sound intriguing!
