In my opinion Stirling is underrated. For my preference of use - quick on the puck load and face lather- I get excellent results and actually better than Grooming Dept that gets all the rage recently. Don't get me wrong, it's a good soap but for me- Stirling is better.

I am now going through 10 scents (plus bay rum that was thrown in) that I treated myself as a Hanukkah gift.
Today was "Texas on Fire" ? and I am definitely getting a full tub of that - for me it is the perfect winter soap.
I really like Stirling's Bay Rum. Their Frankincense & Myrhh is great this time of year. One other that I use ceremonially on December 25th every year is Nag Champa. That one may not be for everyone, as it took a few turns for me to embrace it, but man it is great.

Yes it lathers itself pretty much - and I like that.
Declaration scent is awesome but if I have to spent 30 seconds loading a brush and making lather in a bowl or whatever - its not for me. Too much ceremony for not very little potential gain.

Stirling really does offer some fantastic products, and they are - hands down - the king of value.

I get where you’re coming from. Not everyone wants to spend a lot of time making lather. For me, that’s my jam. Spending time enjoying the scent while the face lather, and getting satisfaction out of a super hydrated righteous lather. Part of the fun for me is figuring out different soap bases and seeing how far they can be pushed.

I like to dial in Stirling lathers to a drippy mess as well…it just takes less time to get it there. You can throw water in rapidly and before you know it, you’re ready to rock & roll. For that reason, when I’m in a hurry, Stirling is often called to duty.

Lather on and enjoy your shaves, sir!

Nag Champa is a great scent. Maybe not so much during the summer months, though. That’s where Electric Sheep comes in. Like Nag Champa, it’s not for everyone. You don’t choose the Sheep. It chooses you.

FS, exactly. I can only use nag in December and January. I have the sheep - and I need to pull her out this summer!

You guys got me. Samples on the way.
I had a jar a long time ago in the regular formula but the scent wasn't for me and I only used it once. I also had the Unscented with Beeswax, which is a different formula and shaved well, but being unscented, it didn't get much usage and that also found a new home.

Neroli - hope you like the F&M, and the Evergreen Forest. I have those and like them this time of year. I look forward to your reaction to Deton-8, as I am a big fan of Spicebomb - this pays homage to that fragrance! Right on - will follow your lead if you find it worthy. I know Bluegrass likes it... .Blue, looks like you loaded up on the Deton 8! I find PdP 63 to be very similar so use it as my Spicebomb soap. ?
