I picked up Island Man for the first time this summer, and I’m loving it. Great scent!

This is my 3rd summer with this scent. It IS summer. I use more of it than anything else in season. I use the bath bar too! Thanks for the review Ruds Your analysis of the soap affirms my Stirling exclusivity.

Thanks for the encouragement. I imagine being an exclusive user of Stirling Soap Co. you have the lather dialed in something special. It really performs so well and well above it's price point. Have you ever finished a full size tub?

I have, several. Pucks too. I had 15 complete Stirling sets (soap, splash, balm) at New Years. I finished a couple winter scents early in '18. I'm trying to finish Island Man, Weekend in Malibu, and South Padre before fall. Island man is kaput. <50% on the other two. I'll get there.

The tubs seem to be more solid than the pucks of same scent. Plus the tubs are massive. 5.8oz? That's a big pile of soap for $13ish. Sirling's performance and value are so good, I've had no reason to seek out other soap. My brother has given me several B&M samples. They were good scents. I was glad they were gone honestly. I can't seem to bring myself to spend twice the $$ for 4.0oz of soap. A set of Stirling is only a couple $$ more than just a tin of soap from other manufacturers.

That's very impressive. South Padre is on my list. That's one I've always wanted to try. I will probably wait until next summer for it.

I cannot disagree with your perspective on cost to performance ratio. It is such a good product at a great price. It really allows anyone who is budget savvy a lot of variety for not a lot of scratch.

Stirling Insider tip: If you want to try a summer scent next summer, buy it at the end of THIS summer. Summer scents get deep discounts when Rod clears the deck for upcoming fall scents. I usually buy a couple of pucks to fill my empty tubs.
