And yes I would expect him to travel to inspect such a large investment, if the razors were not made in Ark.
I for one appreciate that Rod is willing to try to bring a quality piece to market and feel for the situation that happened and he is dealing with all while displaying integrity and honesty. We can all presume we know the situation.................but we don't. He is cleaning up the mess and still trying to bring it to market. So let's not add to his difficulties and complain it'll be a long wait or how he should have done things. At least he hasn't taken your money to use while you wait months for a razor to be produced as some have. He bore the financial burden himself and he can handle the production as he sees fit. When they're available he'll sell them and you can buy one or not. Cut the guy some slack. Peace Out...........

If he did he would see that no razors were being produced.

Certainly you are presuming that the shop that was supposed to be making them is also in Arkansas, right? I certainly wouldn't expect Rod to have to travel to an out of state shop to check on progress!!

My bad man, maybe you know something we all don't.... Then again, maybe he didn't use the guy that makes his handles in Arkansas and went with someone else, what a concept!!

Do people confuse him with Roger Sterling on Mad Men?
I met Rod at the Maggard Shave meet last summer and I communicated with him as I was one of those that tested the prototype of his SS razor. I can say without hesitation he's a stand up guy for sure and he's also shown me the integrity that he has by his actions after having such a bad situation happen to him. Hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure looking back he probably wishes he had done a couple things differently. Let's face it a successful business isn't always an instant road to Nirvana and mistakes are made along the way. The key word is learning from those mistakes and making the right decisions moving forward and it seems to me that Rod and his wife Mandy are doing what they believe is the right thing to do as far as dealing with this situation and moving on with the project. I wish them well and I'm in no hurry I have more than enough razors to use but they have my support and when the razor is ready I'll be picking one up to show my support.
BTW here's his business card that came in the prototype so it's my guess he uses the name Rod and I'm sure he doesn't hate people calling him that LMAO!
