I love it when you tease me, Dan! Yowza. I love the cases. And the Darwin-esque neck on the one lady is kinda nice looking. Looking forward to your thoughts on these.

I assume the pouch is for blade tucks. Doesnt look like a brush would fit?

[Image: zpdd7Hy.jpg]First impressions matter.  The leather cases are really nice, and will hold the razors and a tuck of blades for storage or travel.  Very classy presentation.

These razors exhibit nice heft, and the balance points differ based on the handle choice.  The knurling is very aggressive, and I think I prefer the smaller, top-knurled version — at least initially.  It just feels like there’s no way you will ever lose your grip on either, but I feel like the bottom-knurled handle almost forces you to hold the razor lower on the handle than one usually would.  But I’ll shave with both before rendering a final verdict.

The polish, to my eye, is similar to the basic-polished Wolfman — which is to say it is better than most others in the market.  It’s not mirror; but why would we expect that at Rod’s projected price points?

The differences in gaps are clear to see when side-by-side.  The tolerances are extremely tight, and you know you’re wielding a finely-crafted tool.

(I’ll be shaving tonight with the aggressive head, the ‘top-knurled’ handle and a fresh Feather.)
