Hi everyone,

First up, thank you, thank you, thank you to those of you who have backed our Kickstarter project so far, we're SUPER grateful!  Smile  Smile

If anyone has any questions or suggestions, please feel free to share. Also, if you're looking to back us with a pledge but hadn't got round to it yet, don't worry, the project ends on 2nd March and so there's plenty of time yet.

To get it off the ground we need as much support as we can get, however great or small! You can pledge by visiting our project page, right here - http://kck.st/2rYbICn

To help us spread the word about our Kickstarter we've featured in The Holborn, which is a British independent lifestyle magazine that celebrates a life well made.

We had a good chat with them and they asked us the following questions:

What lead you to the world of shaving? What was your turning point for embarking on the journey?
You were founded in 2015 – how have the first three year of Phoenix & Beau gone? What have been the challenges and successes?
Can you tell us more about the development of your products – how did you hone the perfect scent and texture?
What makes a Phoenix & Beau soap special? How does it enhance my morning ritual?
Many moons ago we launched via Kickstarter and have since been advocates of crowd funding; why did you turn to the platform?

To see my answers, have a read of the article by following this link - http://bit.ly/2Eucw4P

If you can back us that's brilliant and thank you, but if you can't don't worry. Either way, if you're able to please spread the love about the project and share it as far and as wide as possible. We're trying to reach out and educate men as to the right way to shave and every little bit of help we get will help us to achieve that.

A million thanks in advance  Happy2  Big Grin

Kerry.

Kerry, I have a question. The kickstarter features a menu of several different levels of support each level with specific rewards attached. I went in and selected a particular level and everything was fine. Later I thought, gee I'd sure like one of those other rewards at a different level in addition to the one I'd already selected. So I went back in and selected that other level and the site processed the selection as a change - instead of the one I'd previously selected. I didn't want one or the other, I wanted both. In any case I switched back to my original selection and now I'm asking you if thats the intent, i.e., you can only chose one level/reward and not multiple levels.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Well we're as new to Kickstarter as you are buddy and so we're learning as we go along. I think the easiest way to cover off a bespoke pledge is to adjust your pledged amount by the relevant fact, i.e. £15 for the organic vegan facial soap, etc and let us know exactly what you would like added to your "order". I'll then add a note to the pledge and it's covered Smile

To answer your question about the intent behind the rewards, I was minded not to offer too many permutations and have tried to cover off the most probable types of demand. I wanted to avoid confusing potential backers with dozens of different types of reward levels. We like simple. Simple is good Smile

Hope that helps?

Very best regards,

Kerry.

OK, lets see if I'm clear, so if I've already pledged £89 for the software set and I'd like the lather bowl as well, I could adjust the £89 by adding £30 and telling you that I'd like a lather bowl as well?
