I bought the 1/4 moon a week or two ago and have had it for about a week now. I've used it a few times and find it very similar to the APShaveCo Tuxedo in looks and feel with the only difference being the fan splaying larger (of course) - good backbone, very similar to the AP Tux and very soft tips.
I have this one:
https://www.italianbarber.com/collection...ssoft-knot
and this one:
http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/mag...ze-handle/
I have nothing but praise for these two and they are my daily "drivers". I had a
Maggard Plissoft Bruce that I sold and it was wonderful, but the two aforementioned black synthetics are better IMO. I have read enough reviews of the "Game Changer" comparing it to the
Maggard black synthetic to know that they are indeed the same knot for all intents & purposes. The
RazoRock 400 is the very same fiber IMO and although initially it had a tad more backbone than the
Maggard one it has since "evolved" into the same brush after repeated usage, i.e., they are the same to my face.
So, what I would like to know is whether these
EverShave "Tuxedo" style synthetic brushes are essentially the same as the
Maggard black synthetic &
RazoRock 400 black synthetic or indeed a notch better?
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
