This was my first time using a Denton Majik soap and I was thoroughly impressed! This soap built up into a lather very easily and took on the water I feed it like a champ. It just continued to grow until I had a full bowl of premium lather. I didn't even use all that much soap to begin with. The lather was very slick as expected and was fun to apply. You can say I'm definitely a fan of this soap base now.
As for the scent, I'm my opinion, Might Mac is amazing! To me, it smells like a sweet aquatic cologne. It's clean but not boring and is sweet but not too sweet. Its scent notes are listed as oakmoss, amber, cedar, musk, and lavender. I'll tell you that I genuinely love it.
With three days of growth, I wanted a guaranteed efficient shave so I reached for the always reliable Blackland Blackbird. This razor has a stellar reputation for a reason. I'm here to tell you that reputation holds true.
I did three passes with a Personna blade on its eleventh use and still pulled off a bbs. What does that tell you?
I opted for some Aqua Velva Ice Sport aftershave because it smelled similar to the soap. Either way, it's a great aftershave that I like a lot and will always have in my den.
Alright well, thanks for reading and enjoy your shaves.
