Another great shave with the new Karve today!
Put on the “C” plate, and as with the “B”, silky smooth. Deceptively so at times.
Effectiveness per stroke/pass...? Still evaluating, and will be for awhile. I can say this wonderfully made razor is a pleasure to use thus far. I also imagine sharper, more aggressive blades will modify effectiveness too.
Still...BBS, post-buff.
Today’s shave also leveraged the exceptional quality of Mike’s “Hungarian Lavender”, and the usual repertoire of Thayer’s and an AS, followed up with a balm.
AS was WCS’s “Sequoia”, an’ da balm be Nivea “white cap” (w/o alcohol).
BTW, if you haven’t tried the Sequoia scent from WCS, you might. Got a free sample kit of their recently-created house scents, including this one, with an order for “Gatsby” AS and soap.

A kind of manly floral, in the vein of a “woodsy”, Irish Sping-like smell. Very nice.
