Wolfman WR1 .74 OC/WRH1 Handle
Gillette Rubie Plus
Simpson “Captain” w/Manchurian Badger in Candy Stripe
Declaration Grooming “Pure Lavender” Soap
Chatillon Lux “Pure Lavender” Aftershave Splash
Had one of the nicest shaves in recent memory today. I had four days of growth to knock down, so I chose the Wolfman OC for the job. The .74 Wolfman OC is one of my more aggressive Razors with the potential to be rough on my skin, but the Rubie being a smooth, but not one of the sharpest blades was able to tame this beast. Coupled with an outstanding Soap and Splash I was able to get a three pass shave that left me BBS with zero irritation. I hadn’t used Declaration Grooming Soaps since they were L&L, and I’m glad I revisited. Performance was top tier, and this scent was much more agreeable with me than some I’ve used in the past. Chatillon Lux is one of my very favorite Aftershaves, and left my skin feeling great with zero burn. I’ll definitely be looking into YRP and Colonia Balsamica as well.
