Bulgari Man in Black today. 20 seconds to load the Thater 2-Band Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bulgari Man in Black EdT.

Mark Cross (Proline injector) vs. Mark Cross (Supermax DE). Edge to the Proline but the half DE, which requires two shims, comes surprisingly close. Both brilliant.

Remarkable shave today. The VB performed with the Elios like I expected, wonderfully. Shannon’s Barbershop scent is like very few scents that I’ve encountered. A very herbal, semi sweet take on a barbershop scent that has me hooked. Performance is among the best. The Jean Paul Gualtier was and is one of my favorite scents of all time. I was extremely lucky to pick up this pre 2009 set that still has the DNA scent from the mid 90’s to early 2000’s. A classic barbershop take with a turn up in sweetness that is aromatic, a bit spicy that has the right touch of lavender, mint and bergamot with a divine vanilla dry down but, in a good way. Unique, masculine, slightly floral with a nice fresh vibe that makes the Misses weak in the knees. That’s all the approval I need. Great day and shaves to all Gents...​
