Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Proraso
Razor – Hone 15
Blade – Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge
Brush - 'Mama Chub' (Chubby 2 Two Band)
Soap – OSP Eucalyptus + Menthol
Post - Witch Hazel

Well, I had my shave all lined up, and then I get home from work, and the Rockwell 6S shows up (thanks Marco!)... talk about restraint!! But seeing that I haven't really got time to play today, I'm going to stick with my planned shave....So anyway, the 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge rocked in the Hone, and although I didn't really enjoy the experience today due to feeling rushed, It was still a wonderful, BBS shave...

After undergoing a most uncomfortable shave and coming up with matching results I examined the GEM G Bar Razor.
I saw that I had inserted the blade carelessly after my last shave with this Razor. It is easy to insert it correctly and easy to make a mess of things.
It's all my fault. I am demanding a rerun tomorrow. The G Bar and blade are innocent.

Finally used the Mentor head from Razorock that I got a while ago. I really liked it, it gave a much greater shave than the open comb I got from them. Sapone di Paolo was excellent as always, truly wonderful to use.

Razor: Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip TV Special (D2)

Blade: Personna Platinum (2)

Brush: Omega Professional 10098 Boar

Soap: RazoRock XXX

Aftershave: RazoRock XXX

Excellent 3 passes and a touchup tonight with this classic shave gear. This is a buy again soap. I'm really liking the Personna Platinum blade. I'm getting a close comfortable shave with the blade. When I use Personna I usually use the Lab, which I like very much.

Enjoy your evening ladies and gentlemen.

First shave with Schick Adjustable. Went with setting 3 for the whole shave, definitely too mild for me. But after 3 passes and more cleanup than i would like I'm BBS with just a little neck irritation. Was also the first shave with my new JR-36 Horse Brush. Which face lathered the VDH Deluxe with out a hitch. Have a great day!

I'm pouting because I still don't have my Beaudelaire, but meanwhile I'm enjoying Barrister_N_Mann 's Night Music.  It smells as beautiful as it looks.  Night Music is like a naughty Lavanille.  I've previously described Night Music thusly:

Quote:Night Music is what happens when Hallows takes Lavanille into a back alley and defiles it.
