After the summer soap post, I knew I needed to revisit the Savannah Sunrise. What a great soap! I believe this is v2, so it is absolutely competent. Someday I'll grab the newest iteration (v3? V8?) and see how much better it is.

The Lupo Aluminum is an absolute winner for me. Not going to dethrone my Henson, but it is a great shaver for me. Light and smooth shaving, yet efficient enough. Knowing my favoring of lighter razors, I should have seen this coming... Aluminum is good, SS 95 was not my cup of tea. Ooh well.

This was my second outing with the Equinoxe soap, which is also my first soap from E&S Rasage. I achieved my main objective, which was to quickly and accurately dial in the soap, and I was rewarded with a drama-free BBS for my efforts. My previous shave, using mainly a shavette, was a worky shave. I was fixing Equinoxe lather mistakes while using the unguarded shavette blade. I suppose it serves me right for not doing better soap recon up front. OTOH that's just one of many ways to become a day older and wiser. Smile
