Gem Jr. Lather Catcher with JR custom handle
CVS carbon steel blade
WD Synthetic brush
TSD Iced Lemongrass SS
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD 2x Mentholated Lemongrass A/S

I had used the Gem Jr. with the original handle before and it was just to mild in that configuration. So when Jayaruh offered up his custom handles, I was fortunate enough to get one. Much lager and longer and beautiful. Figured a bigger handle might make a difference. Nope. The Lather Catcher is just as mild, enough so that a decent shave is difficult if not impossible to get. I'll try it again tomorrow and see what happens. But for now, I'm still disappointed in this Lather Catcher (but not the handle). Now go enjoy your day folks

Ridiculously good shave today! I tried a sample of The Shaving Shop's Café au Lait, and I have to say it may be my new all time favorite coffee scent, even better than North York. It paired well with Hallows. Hell yeah! First time using a Dogwood brush today, and it was great. The Cashmere is super soft but also splayed better than any other synthetic that I've used.

Excellent, flawless three pass shave. The Polsilvers seem to be, along with the yellow 7 O'Clocks and the Silver Blues, in the top three for the 89 head. At least as far as my skin is concerned Wink .

Razor: Colonial Razor The General
Blade: Kai Captain Titan Mild
Brush Handle: WildWest Brushworks
Knot: Boss
Soap: Nuavia Verde
Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
Alum
Osage Rub
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux La Forest de Liguest

First try of the General this morning and I must say that I like it. The light weight is going to take some getting used to but it was enjoyable to use. The Kai blade did the job, three passes and I ended up BBS with zero irritation. The blade did tug slightly so I'm going to try one of the Feather blades next. I finished up with this wonderful scent from Chatillon Lux. How I wish he offered this scent in an EDP. Have a great day folks!
