Razor: 1930 Gillette NEW DE Luxe
Blade: Gillette Nacet Stainless (D4)

Lather: Shannon's Soaps The Warrior
Brush: Simpson Trafalgar T1
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements Fine Lather Bowl

Post 1: P.A.A. Alum w/ No-Slip Grip System & Dry Dock System
Aftershave: Shannon's Soaps The Warrior
Post 3: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry w/ Hyaluronic Acid

The Gillette NEW DE Luxe is a real treasure of a razor. It always provides me a very close shave and looks really nice too. In general, I like open-comb razors so this beauty is a favorite of mine.

What can I say about Shannon's Soaps The Warrior? It was a special release for a special cause and I'm very happy to own this set. Some might say the scent is a little feminine and that's okay, but really what does that even mean? Fragrances are really either something you like or you don't. And with that said, I like it. So, I'm cool with it.

I did three passes with a Nacet blade installed and after going against the grain, walked away with a bbs. Once done I applied some alum as usual and then some matching aftershave and was feeling really good. Overall this was a very enjoyable shave and am looking forward to using this gear again.

Take care and enjoy your shaves.

Recent surgery prevents me from whipping up soap with a brush and bowl.  Canned Proraso does an excellent job in the meantime with a smooth shaving razor.
