Jabonman~~Mondial~~Barbasol/Polsilver SI
Day four of my Polsilver Focus and up today is the last of the St. Petersburg blades.
You'll notice immediately how similar the printing is on the blade
compared to the Wizamet.
Excellent shave and I have to admit, the blade, while just as smooth as the last two, felt a tad
sharper. That's right, sharper.
Three passes and like the past three shaves, zero irritation, zero cuts, zero nicks.
To the top of the heap this one goes.
In conclusion, both the Polish and Russian versions of the Polsilver are worthy blades.
They give great shaves and come highly recommended.

Big disappointment with the G4 knot I got from Frank Shaving. It’s short and reasonably stiff for a good pleasant face lather. I ordered 3 knots, two of which came with the bristles totally deformed, with the bristles split in 2 or 3 places. One was a 24mm knot and could hardly fit into a 26mm handle due to the glue stumps it has.
I had the intention to take it to our forth coming Oregon road trip, instead they are all going to be repurposed as cleaning utensils.
All in all, I didn’t get along with them at all, regardless of the condition they came in.

Funny how this is as I have tried the Polsilver SIs quite a few different times and I didn't find them equal to the Wizamet Iridium Supers, for whatever reason. They are nice blades, but not quite the same, for me. It is fascinating how we all differ, in some ways. Great to hear you are enjoying both of the blades.
