I got BBS in many areas but I did miss a few spots. I find this is normal when you don’t lay the blade completely flat. This razor performed wonderfully considering the last time I used it. I learned that there is no set progression when using my Ozuku and I still need a lot of R&D on it. I knew it wasn’t the razor because it took a synthetic edge wonderfully. This razor taught me a whole lot and I learned I can get a hell of a lot sharper than I normally do. Due to the fact that my Ozuku is extremely hard, time is key! Strokes cannot be counted, I had to rely on my loupe and feel the stone was giving me. I still feel like I can go a lot sharper with more time.

This is just a hmmm and personal reflections from handling "naturals"/12000 and up.Me've mostly used and use them for me kitchen deeds,so this is mostly about shirogami/aogami but can aswell be applied to other steels with high carbon matrixes. What I(me that, with a humble knowledge of blacksmithings) have noticed is that a short heat treating of the matrix(the hagane matrix nomatter compositition of the "clump") before going for the harder ones like for example yer mentioned Ozuku, can make a wonderful difference in how the edge reacts to your wettening process.Sometimes it is the endless "rolling" from the pre-process that makes Jnats to seem as more of a destroyer than a helper. The heat treatening me and some other use is like 2 mins on an open flame/hotplate or whatever in handy, and just to rise the matrix temp to somewhere around 120-140 Celsius.Anyway, have great days and sharp on(2 mins and the rest of the fast nags was more for that i came to feel as naggin,so for future hmmms aight)
