Honeysuckle Sunday, hope everyone’s having a good one

Great shave! What razor is that? Also, how do you like the scent on Honeysuckle?

Thank you! The razor is a little frankensteined, it’s a Yates 921-M head with a Barbaros handle. I really enjoy honeysuckle so it would be hard for the scent to not be a winner for me. I would say it’s a touch ‘greener’ than smelling a honeysuckle plant (in my opinion/experience). But not in a bad way at all, in fact I think it’d be a bit cloying if it weren’t. Mainly just to say if you’re expecting a syrupy honeysuckle it’s not quite that, but a good blend of greenness and a natural, fresh sweetness

The Vintage GEM journey continues. The Shovelhead delivers a solid BBS but feels a bit less effective than the GEM MMOC. On the other hand, the MMOC requires more vigilance and care. A side by side shave should clarify which is most effective.

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend.

Excellent shave today. Went back to Phoenix Shaving's excellent "Sci-Fi Lime" soap and splash. Great citrus-meets-barbershop scent and wonderful lather built with the QED Select Manchurian badger brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the Supply Co. SE and I finished with the matching after shave splash and Clubman "Citrus Musk" EdC.
