As we're having a "Boar brush week" in foroafeitado, it was time to let the Omega 31052 see some action and I coupled it with my brand new Eufros. Surprisingly, it took more effort to lather in the bowl than on my face, and not surprisingly, the Omega needed considerable more soap load than the Plisson synthetic. Nonetheless, the feel and the soft massaging effect of the Omega is something the Plisson lacks. Each one of them has its time and the good thing is owning them both.
The soap is outstanding. I guess the picture speaks for itself as for the quality of the lather I obtained. The scent is great, provided you like potent Vetivers. This one is not meant for wimpies. The post shave is so good that I required no balm. Some lotion and good to go.

No Buy 2016 FAILED!!!
I love that Rod Neep brush- beautiful jade and the design is perfect!
Thanks Kevin. I appreciate the support... I made it 70 days. Now I've got a couple of goodies on the way, and a couple more pending.
The Neep is really a great brush. It feels good in the hand and I really like the knot.
Cheers,
Chris

Always a treat when you get to use things for the first time to see how they perform.
This morning;
Razor
Merkur Mach 3 handle with pointy end (first time using it and it was very pleasant to use)
Brush
Vintage, small Maw of London brush (sure, a rather tiny brush but it sure whipped up some great lather!)
Never used it before and was feeling guilty for having it sit around unused so gave it a good clean and put it to work.
Mug
Pewter mug/container that I used to soak the brush in during my shower.
Haven't used it before but ended up work well for soaking my brush and keep the water warm.
Soap
Panna Crema's Vetiver that I really like
Post-Shave
Soap Commander Endurance ASB
A very good shave was had
