Inspired by a friend, I decided to combine B&M Kyovu with Tonique aftershaves today. I found that Lavanille and Bay Rum work nicely together, though the former is a much stronger scent and longer lasting.
The shave was superb, with optimal lather generated by my Brothers Bristles Spartan Bronze brush and three smooth passes with der Futur on five. Drama free bliss to start my day.

Superb Tabacstag!
Very smooth and easy shave on five today. Now I think the new PSO might be the culprit for my substandard shaves recently. I went with PAA Ice pre shave today. I also played with photo filters a bit today.

Lovely photo! I don't think there is a better looking cracked lid of Tabac anywhere!

Things I learned today:
If you've used your Proguard blade 6-7 times or so in your Mongoose razor...don't just plop it into your King Cobra razor and take it for a spin...ouch.
Let's just say my lather was..pink/reddish today.

Tomorrow: a fresh blade.

Really enjoying my $6 A/S though - this is good stuff.

Thanks! I like the look of the crack, but the soap has lost much of its scent.

I am impressed with the Plissoft. There is a large glue bump which I thought would make this knot in enjoyable for me. However, despite the relatively low free loft the knot still splayed nicely without much spring back.

Cologne Russe is now the second scent from Will that my wife has said he needs to turn into an EdT or EdP.
