Tedalus Essence is a silky smooth shaver. It is the most efficient straight razor with replaceable blades that I have ever used — and I have used quite a few. In the Tedalus you can use Artist Club blades, shorter injector type blades and half DE blades. The blade housing, shank and tang are all stainless steel. The handle is aluminum. The blade housing holds the blade magnetically. This is an impressive razor. It is also in near mint condition. Alas, it is a wee bit large for my small hands.
