Sold Gillette Goodwill OC safety razor, 1931-1935, in great condition - SOLD

The razor has been very sparingly used over years and years. As a result, this almost 90-year-old safety razor looks and functions like new. Golden coating does not show any noticeable damage (except a single darker spot on the top cap), you still could see the original reddish lacquer coating, especially on the original handle. The teeth are perfectly straight and, in sharp contrast to the most razors of this time period, there are no cracks in the handle; the handle is fully intact. Examples with intact plating and intact handle are very hard to find. I can also provide the Goodwill razor head with the Gillette Ball End Replica Handle (Universally threaded solid brass from Razor Emporium, the bottom photo) – please, tell me which handle you want, either the original handle or the new handle from Razor Emporium.

This is a great razor, very smooth and efficient, the best open comb Gillette, IMHO. Functions perfectly as expected from a perfect Gillette. Disinfected/Barbicide, shave ready. Pictures do not do justice. Selling only because I recently got a double that fits me well and I do not need two Goodwill razors. Priced low to sell quickly. I believe in the post Andrew linked (see above), it's only bump-able by you and has to be 3 days (72 hours) to trigger it.

If you find it's not working in those confines, please reach out to a moderator. Andrew did a pretty thorough test, so hopefully it is working well.

Beyond that, what an awesome looking razor. If I were an OC guy, this would already be mine. Lol.

Im shocked the Original handle has no cracks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the handle that usually does - same as the Old Type?
